House in Kinsale

Location: Scilly Walk, Kinsale, Cork

This house was designed to take advantage of the stunning views overlooking the ocean and to flood the living space with as much natural light as possible. Large lift & slide door were used to connect outdoor rooms with the interior of the house and the panoramic floor to ceiling windows give views of the landscape throughout the house.

An anodised finish was used for the aluminium profiles which formed part of a high performance thermally efficient window and door system that was chosen for it’s slender sight lines, integral strength and high weathering properties given that the site is quite exposed.
